SUREMEANTTOOBE set a pressured pace on the inside and was headed and passed by the five-sixteenths while in the two path, came three wide off the turn by the quarter pole and was resurgent by the furlong marker and edged clear in the final sixteenth to prove best under a drive. SLAM NOTION pressed the pace and made a three wide bid on the turn to gain a short lead by the five-sixteenths and then was clear four wide by the quarter pole, but the inside rival was resurgent nearing the furlong marker and went on even terms leaving the furlong marker and was out-kicked by that foe and had to settle for being second best. MACHO MUSIC prompted the pace four wide and tipped out five wide leaving the quarter pole but lacked the needed winning bid while keeping on to best the rest. GRAND OPENING chased the pace and was three to two wide on the turn but had no rally. TWELVE TREASURES chased the pace on the inside and was in the two path entering the turn, wanted to move out but was hemmed in by GRAND OPENING on the turn, dropped to the rail leaving the five-sixteenths, angled out in the lane but had no rally.
