Footnotes
IZZY D'ORO set a slow pace while unchallenged two wide to the inside on the first turn, remained clear while being well handled and widened the margin on the far turn, cut the corner leaving the turn and was still clear by the furlong marker and came out under left handed crop ten yards from the wire and bumped PATRICK'S PROMISE yards before the wire and held on to prove best. PATRICK'S PROMISE tracked the winner from the inside and then moved out to the two path on the turn and was roused by the quarter pole, came three wide into the lane and was slowly gaining on the winner and was bumped about five yards from the wire but was too late. THE BRIGADE was rated along two to three wide and came four wide into the lane but lacked the winning bid while besting the rest. SOUPER CRUNCHY was settled along the inside and fell back on the turn and then improved in the lane for the minor rewards. EDGERTON was bumped and squeezed back at the break, trailed early and moved to the outside and made a five wide run on the far turn but came up empty in the lane. PUNXSUTAWNEY PHIL was settled early and made a four wide run on the far turn but tired. JOCKEY'S OBJECTION then number two against the number six, after the STEWARDS reviewed the replays they allowed the OBJECTION and DISQUALIFIED IZZY D'ORO from first and placed second.
