GRAMP'S LEGACY was well rated early and moved off the inside entering the backstretch, made a two wide bid by the five-sixteenths to go on even terms with the pacesetter and dueled with that rival to nearing the furlong marker and then kicked clear to prove best under a drive. THEN WHAT TIME was keen early and set a fast pace while in the two to three path on the first turn, then came back to the rider by the five furlong marker and then dropped to the inside entering the far turn and was headed midway on the turn and dug in and fought on to the furlong marker but then could not go with the winner while staying on to be second best. SMART UNCLE was allowed to settle on the inside, eased out on the far turn and was blocked leaving the turn, angled out by the three sixteenths marker for racing room and finished full of run. PENDAR was reserved early, three wide on the far turn and came four wide into the lane but needed a rally while improving position. JOLLY BY GOLLY chased the pace on the inside but lacked the needed winning bid. EMPIRE OF GLORY was three wide into the first turn and settled on the outside, made a three wide bid by the five sixteenth but flattened out and weakened late. FEAR OF UNION was off a step slow and trailed on the inside but lacked a rally. WEST MOUNTAIN checked into the first turn, reserved three wide and came five wide into the lane but never factored.
