COOL COWBOY prompted the pace three wide and made a four wide bid by the quarter pole and kicked clear then remained clear to the wire to prove best under a drive. GOLDEN DESCENT chased the pace and was two wide on the turn, three wide by the quarter pole and moved out and ran on well to be gaining late, clearly second best. ROCKETEER dueled for the lead on the inside and cut the corner leaving the turn but faded in the lane while besting the rest. CAPTAIN MERCURY was rated early between rivals, three to four wide on the turn and came six wide off the turn and improved but had no punch. SOMETIME chased the pace on the inside and swung out four wide leaving the turn but lacked a rally. HELL OFA HILLBILLY dueled for the lead two wide and then was in between rivals leaving the turn and weakened. SKYNET lunged at the break and was off slow, chased the pace on the outside and raced four to five wide on the turn and came six wide into the lane and weakened. COLONEL BOB was reserved early, swung wide leaving the turn but had no response.
