SOHANDSOMETOME chased the pace two wide and made a three wide bid leaving the turn to hit the front nearing the furlong marker and drew off to prove much the best under a drive. RENOVATOR was settled along the inside and saved ground on the turn and ran on down on the inside to be second best. FAROOQ chased the pace on the outside and was five wide on the turn and came six wide off the turn and was up for the show award. ALL FRUITS RIPE was reserved back three to four wide on the turn, seven wide off the turn and improved position. SILVER PUNCH was reserved early, two wide on the turn and lacked a rally. DATA WARRIOR chased the pace four wide and was in between rivals by the five sixteenths and weakened. GOVERNOR DUTTON chased the pace three wide and came five wide off the turn and weakened. ROYCES RIDE raced wide and was not a factor. MANNERISM was soon clear and crossed over to set the pace and opened up on the inside on the turn but came up empty in the final furlong.
