Footnotes
BREAK OUT raced in midpack from the three path, ranged up confidently to bid passing the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead passing the quarter, floated out to the five path while coming under pressure at the top of the lane, and dug in to hold off an outer pair. JUST A FAIR SHAKE bumped with an inner foe at the start, raced off the pace in the two path, continued under a drive in the three path around the turn, and ran on between foes from the six path down the lane for place. UNION FLEET trailed in the two path, was coaxed along around the turn, fanned out to the seven path at the top of the lane, and kept on outside of rivals for show. BESTFRIEND ROCKET bumped with an outer foe at the start, rated inside, came under pressure passing the five-sixteenths pole, cut the corner entering the stretch, and fought on before flattening in the final sixteenth. DON'T WAIT UP bumped between foes at the start, tracked inside early, tipped out to the three path while coming under a ride between rivals passing the three-eighths pole, but clipped heels at the quarter pole, then yielded. HOLY SYNCHRONICITY set the pace inside, was asked for more run midway around the turn, but faded from the two path down the stretch. BLAME THE TUX bobbled at the start, prompted the pace in the two path, was coaxed passing the three-eighths pole, bid between foes going by the five-sixteenths, but weakened in the three path down the stretch. NO CHANGES WERE MADE AFTER A STEWARD'S INQUIRY WAS HELD TO LOOK AT THE RUN AT THE TOP OF THE STRETCH, AS WELL OBJECTIONS LODGED BY THE RIDER OF DON'T WAIT UP AGAINST THE RIDER OF BREAK OUT FOR INTEFERENCE AT THE TOP OF THE STRETCH, AND AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF JUST A FAIR SHAKE AGAINST THE RIDER OF BREAK OUT FOR INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH.
