CAKEY pressed the pace two wide, took over in upper stretch, drew clear leaving the eighth pole and just lasted. ROYAL COUNTY DOWN settled off the pace along the inside, angled three wide turning for home, surged late and just missed. POLKA DOT JERSEY broke sharply, set the pace along the rail, could not keep pace with the winner leaving the eighth pole but kept on well enough to hold the show. HARDSCAPE tracked the pace inside, angled two wide turning for home and was one-paced through the lane. GOLD BREW raced off the pace three wide and had a mild belated rally between foes. BASEBALL CARD had early speed between foes, steadied nearing the turn, chased the pace three wide and lacked the needed rally. PRETTY VIOLENT was pinched back at the start, trailed inside, angled out in upper stretch and never threatened. VIRGINIA FAB failed to menace while racing four wide. HUGH'S LEGEND hesitated at the start, raced off the pace inside, checked off heels near the three-eighths marker, angled out soon after and was no threat in the lane. BEDLAM AT THE PARK played no factor while racing three wide. PELICAN PIER chased the pace inside, retreated nearing the lane and was eased in the final furlong.
