BENJI STAR broke outwards and settled near the back in the three path, then came out a bit in the upper to be four wide and drew clear from the rest. AND SUM pressed the pace from the two path and continued on in the stretch but was no match for the winner. KALEA BAY stalked the pace from the three path along the turn and vied coming into the upper but needed kick. VILLAGE PERSON was antsy loading into the gate then tracked the pace from the inside and tipped out in the upper and finished mildly. ANTRAX was settled mid-pack early along the outside in the five path but weakened nearing the quarter pole. THE BAND RUNS ON trailed the field from the inside and was no factor. OUR MAGICAL MOON saved ground along the inside and tipped out in the stretch but was no menace. CROSSINGTHECHANNEL hit the gate leaving and rushed up then shifted inside and set a pressured pace but faded in the stretch.
