TELL ME SOME LIES broke with the leaders, settled in the second fight while off the inside, continued to stalk in the run up the backstretch, ranged up three wide to a forward position turning for home, outside bid nearing midstretch, gained the advantage and kicked clear. GOLDEN ROCKET broke in good order from the outside, vied into the first turn, prompted the leader the middle part, challenged that rival from the outside late in the final bend, vied between horses upper stretch and past the furlong marker then could not match strides with the winner, held sway late for the place. DOESN'THURTTOFLIRT lacked early foot for five furlongs, began to advance second turn, came three wide for the drive, continued to close the gap on the runner up but could not get to that rival late. CAIRO STREET took control entering the first turn along the inside, garnered a larger advantage onto the backstraight, rated the middle half, responded when challenged by the runner up late in the second turn, vied through upper stretch then faltered the final furlong. SPOTTY SHOWERS patiently handled while well off the pace toward the inside, remained in hand late in the final bend, shaken up in upper stretch but lacked a closing response. NICKY JOLENE broke with the leaders, raced in the second flight along the rail and inside the winner, covered up a bit into the far turn, cut the corner into the lane, roused when clear, lacked a closing punch. BONITA BREEZE lacked speed from the start, continued back, failed to muster a closing response. INEEDYOUBABE in mid pack early off the rail, moved a bit closer with a mild middle move outside, backed up when the real running began turning for home.
