WAR OFFICER came in at the start, settled well soon after, lodged an inside bid on the far turn, was checked at the five-sixteenths when in tight quarters, angled off rail to take aim and readily kicked clear in the stretch under intermittent pressure. ALAKAN trailed early, advanced while four wide up the back stretch run and continued his steady four wide bid in the stretch to secure the place spot. LORDSHIP saved ground, commenced a bid on the far turn and stayed on well in the stretch. SOUPER ATTENTIVE ducked out at the start, bumped LIMO early, raced forwardly while three wide and gave little in response when asked to improve. ZEPHYROS seized command early, was clear into the far turn, brushed aside by the eventual winner at the three-sixteenths marker and faded thereafter. TWAIN reserved while three wide, moved four wide into the stretch and lacked a substantive bid. LIMO bumped at the start, stalked the pace under a snug hold, inched closer to the front nearing the three-eighths pole and came up empty in the stretch.
