MEZCAL MAMA brushed with an outer foe at the start, trailed in the three path, was ridden along the inside around the turn, angled out to the four path in upper stretch, then rallied to take command passing the sixteenth pole, and went clear. VERACIOUS stalked in the three path, was cued passing the quarter, took aim at the top of the stretch, ran on to lead just after the eighth pole, but got out-kicked by an outer rival in the closing stages to be second best. MISCHIEVOUS TWINS chased outside of foes, was pushed along in the four path around the turn, and rallied late outside of rivals for show. POVERTY WITH AVIEW raced off the pace in the two path, was ridden around the turn, tipped out to the three path passing the quarter, but had to steady nearing the eighth pole, and evened out. ITALY prompted the pace along the rail, continued under coaxing around the turn, but faded in the stretch. CHEDDAR was held up from midpack along the rail, cued from the two path midway around the turn, took aim in the four path at the top of the stretch, but flattened. BRIKELI brushed with an inner foe at the start, set the pace in the two path, waited from just off the rail around the turn, was cued passing the quarter, but gave way in the final furlong.
