Footnotes
POWER GRID stalked in the three path, bid outside of an inner pair midway around the turn, led while being cued passing the five-sixteenths pole, asserted command while tipping in slightly passing the eighth pole, and held firm. LONESOME BOY was up close in the two path, vied for the lead between rivals around the turn, kept on down the stretch, steadied passing the furlong grounds, but was second best. ROLL ON JESSE chased in the three path, was ridden in the two path around the turn, and stayed on willingly from the four path down the stretch for show. IRISH EXIT set the pace inside, came under a ride while losing the lead to an outer foe early around the turn, battled on from the rail turning into the stretch, then yielded down the stretch. BRINDANO trailed throughout, was coaxed from the two path passing the three-eighths pole, but never menaced. NO CHANGES WERE MADE AFTER AN OBJECTION WAS LODGED BY THE RIDER OF LONESOME BOY AGAINST THE RIDER OF POWER GRID FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH.
