Footnotes
ANOINT was rank on the outside while settling in the back of the field, advanced on the far turn and moved in to the two path nearing the quarter pole, then moved in to the inside to make a bid by the furlong marker and drew clear to prove best, driving. RED TONE prompted the pace on the outside and made a four wide bid to take over leaving the turn and lugged in nearing the furlong marker and then was corrected, then lugged in again by the sixteenth marker all the way to the inside and could not go with the winner while second best. WILMA FLINTSHIRE was reserved on the inside and saved ground throughout, then had a good finish on the rail. CARNANE (IRE) was rated early and made a bid between rivals leaving the last jump to vie for command on the far turn, forced in nearing the furlong marker but faded in the final furlong. UNFOLDING BEAUTY was allowed to settle early, made an outside move on the far turn and came wide into the drive but flattened out in the final furlong. CRIMSON LILLE tracked the early pace and then was in between rivals on the second circuit but weakened in the lane. CAMCHA was rated along and in contention to the far turn on the second circuit and tired. BOLD LOOK tracked the pace along the inside and did not jump over the fourth hurdle too well and was still in contention to the ninth fence and tired the final quarter of a mile. ABSTRACT MOMENT showed the way while keen and rank for the first circuit and did not go over jump number five all too well, then gave way on the far turn. MODERN SOCIETY was reserved early and tired badly. STEWARDS INQUIRY into the running of this race but after reviewing the replays no action was taken and left as is.
