BRIGHT EYED EAGLE (IRE) settled back and was placed between rivals nearing the fifth hurdle, then was between horses again near the quarter pole, split rivals in the lane and drew clear to prove best under hand urging. HOLD HARD (IRE) settled back in the two to three path, fell back briefly nearing the eighth hurdle, angled inwards at the furlong marker and had a late rally. DANTE'S FIRE was settled back early and moved up between rivals in the second circuit, came about five wide into the upper stretch and had a mild late gain. BENJIS BENEFIT (IRE) set an unchallenged early pace and showed the way but weakened in the stretch. LOVE FOREVERAFTER was settled back early and split rivals at the top of the turn, angled in at the upper stretch and weakened. PAVONI was settled in the two path and shifted out to be three wide in the second circuit but had no kick in the stretch. ICANDOTHAT chased the pace from the inside, bobbled on the sixth jump and faded in the upper stretch. CLARA BELLE trailed and showed little.
