FREEDOM ROAD move up inside, pressed the early leader exiting the chute along the rail, dueled with that one into and through the turn, headed inside the lane between calls, regained the advantage past the furlong marker, put the other speed away late to prove best in determined fashion. BILL OF RIGHTS in the second group while racing three wide and between horses, chased the dueling leaders when clear through the turn while continuing three wide, set down for the drive, up late for the second spot while unable to get to the winner. FORREST CITY broke on top, narrowly showed the way onto the backstretch, alternated up front the middle half, held a narrow advantage into the lane, yielded to the winner with a sixteenth to run, caught late for the runner up position. GET LIKE MIKE void of early foot, continued back into the turn, angled out to be five wide while between horses into the lane, staged a mild rally well out in the strip to better his position, no real threat to the top two. ASCENDANCE broke out, raced in the second flight while four wide into and through the turn, had little left for the stretch run in coming up empty. OMAR COMIN fell back after the start, three wide in the long run up the backstretch, bothered slightly exiting the turn by GET LIKE MIKE who was steering out, recovered and improved position a bit by passing mostly tiring rivals. CURLIN'S MALIBU lacked early foot while in some traffic up the backstretch, asked along turn well off the inside, vanned six wide into the lane, lacked a closing response. HOODLUM in the second fight while between foes, mid pack through the turn, backed up through the lane. MORNING THOUGHTS forwardly placed along the inside, asked into the turn, began a steady retreat after a half.
