AWESOME PIC forwardly placed inside, in tight along the rail late backstretch, tracked the leader from the inside through the turn while under a snug hold, moved out a bit and challenged outside that one into the lane, took over, got clear past the furlong marker and held sway to the wire. TIZ PURPLE lacked speed while well off the inside, four wide into the turn, five to six wide when beginning to advance by late in the bend, finished willingly to gain the second spot. MISS INTERPATATION in mid pack, raced in some traffic late backstretch just outside the winner, idled through the turn, came three wide for the drive, steered toward the inside for room past the furlong marker, showed late interest but not enough to garner the place, clear of the others. CASA JUANITA lacked speed inside, cut the corner to improved a bit into the lane, in some traffic with less than a furlong remaining while still on the rail, shifted out slightly and continued to better her position. MIGUEL'S BELLE in mid pack off the rail, came four then five wide out of the turn, lost some position when one paced past the furlong marker then picked off a couple of tiring rivals late while continuing evenly to the wire. DESTINATION within striking distance, second group while four wide turning for home, weakened the final furlong. JULEE'S LEGACY failed to catch a quick break, was used to move up and clear by late on the backstretch, showed the way through the turn inside, offered brief resistance to the winner into and through upper stretch, then began to falter, continued to weaken the final furlong to lose considerable position. STYLET in the second group while between horses, remained with striking distance through early turn then was finished when the real running began at the head of the lane. BATTLESHIPPER last to leave, lacked speed well wide, five wide early turn, six wide into the lane, failed to muster a rally in remaining back.
