Footnotes
THEN WHAT TIME broke alertly, allowed a foe to clear from the outside, pursued that one into the turn toward the inside, went after that same rival when straightened for home under a left handed crop, took over inside the furlong grounds then held the runner up safe late while outside that one under continued steady handling and while drifting out a bit. CHIMNEY SWEEP settled behind the two leaders early, also called on for run turning for home, engaged the winner from the inside with a sixteenth to run and was slowly getting to that one in the final strides. FALCON BLUE void of early foot while saving ground, moved out a bit turning for home, turned in a willing late run to be clear for the show, not a threat to the top pair. RAR back off the pace, continued in even fashion through the lane to pick off a single tiring rival, no real threat. KARMA'S INTHEHOUSE away in good order, sprinted clear and to the inside before a furlong, continued to hold a sizeable advantage the middle part, caved in when confronted by the winner with less than a furlong remaining. APOLAUSTIC made little impact while racing outside. MONTIE WHITE SHOES off a beat slow, trailed throughout, appeared to pull up in an off fashion, left the track via the equine ambulance.
