Footnotes
BEHOLD THE KING was prominent early then taken back off the leaders entering the first turn to track from inside, was close but off the leaders and off the rail on the far turn, angled five wide bumping a rival at the top of the stretch, struck the lead soon after, dueled and held the outside foe. EAST VILLAGE bumped with a rival at the start, was forwardly-placed two to three wide early, stalked from outside, fanned six wide turning into upper stretch and was bumped by an inside rival, made a mild bid outside that one but was fended off through the late-stretch duel. BEEKMAN STREET bumped between rivals at the start, settled outside at the back, was mostly three to four wide, fanned seven deep turning for home, gained moderately to secure show honors. RAMBLIN came in after the start bumping a rival, stalked up close three to four wide, fanned out a bit turning for home, kept on but was not enough. MIDAS FACTOR settled off the pace two to three wide, angled in nearer the rail in upper stretch, rallied mildly inside. DON'T TELL TIM was bounced around at the start, angled in, saved some ground near the inside well back, fanned six wide turning for home then angled out further, ran on but needed more. BEYBE BETO was caught wide into the first turn, moved clear and shifted in, set the pace facing pressure, was overtaken midway up the backstretch, wilted in the lane. WISHMASTER had some bumps between foes at the start, gained forward position moving out from three to five wide on the first turn, came back in to press up the backstretch, took a narrow lead at the nine-sixteenths, dueled till the stretch, gave way. C. P. A. JIM tucked in two to three wide into the first turn stalking in behind the leaders, moved nearer the fence, dropped back on the far turn and faded. PARIS PRIEST saved ground, retreated. BRAVO BRODY got away slowly and was distanced. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF EAST VILLAGE AGAINST BEHOLD THE KING ALLEGNIG INTERFERENCE, THE LATTER WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED SECOND BEHIND THE FORMER.
