KATIE'S NOTION was bumped at the start and settled back, came two to four wide around the turn and swung further out to the six path in the upper and closed up late from the outside to prove best. HAPPY CAT settled mid pack, came about three wide on the turn and four wide into the upper stretch made a rally and was up for the place award. BOSS IS A PAL set a pressured pace and moved to the inside, kicked clear briefly nearing the furlong marker but then weakened entering the furlong grounds while holding on for the show award. CACTUS was bumped at the break and settled between rivals along the turn, tipped in late and was outfinished. FROST MOUNTAIN pressured the pace two wide, came three wide into the upper and weakened. ONE WHIRLWIND RIDE broke inwards and bumped it's inside rivals settled back in the two path on the turn, came out about four wide into the upper while shifting further outwards but flattened out. ISLAND D'LITE was bumped at the break and pinched back, came about two to three wide on the turn, swung about five wide into the upper and tipped in late but had no kick. RETAINED was well placed behind the leaders on the inside, steadied near the quarter pole from some outside pressure and then quickly faded. LITIGANT was slammed at the break from the outside, settled in to stride along the inside but was no factor.
