Footnotes
COOPERATION (FR) showed the way and got out in the two path entering the first turn, moved to the inside down the backside while still clear and was headed nearing the furlong marker and dug in gamely through the furlong grounds and prevailed late to prove best under a drive. AMERICAN TAPIT was a bit rank into the first turn, rated along and made a three wide move by the quarter pole, then vied for command nearing the furlong marker while in between rivals and continued that battle to the wire but missed. LADY FAYE was reserved on the inside early and inched closer on the far turn and ranged up four wide leaving the turn and made a bid to loom boldly by the furlong marker but hung late. FLIGHTTOWN was bothered a tad into the first turn, tracked the leaders along the inside and saved ground on the far turn but weakened in the drive. COMMON SENSE stalked the pace three wide and then was two wide on the far turn but tired in the drive.
