Footnotes
CAN GROUP was allowed to settle along the inside and continued to save ground on the far turn, closed well and split rivals by the furlong marker and then dueled for command in the furlong grounds and won the bob to prove best under a drive. MR FLOWERS was rated under a good hold two wide on the first turn, came under coaxing on the far turn and advanced two to three wide and came four wide off the bend and made a bid to vie for command by the furlong marker and then dueled with the winner the final sixteenth and lost the head bob to just miss. QUIZLER was allowed to settle early towards the outside and was three wide down the backside, came under coaxing on the far turn and advanced three to four wide and spun five wide off the bend and made a bid to the furlong marker but flattened out while keeping on for the show award. DEADPAN dueled for the lead three to two wide and the front runners opened up a big lead down the backside and then continued to battle for command by the quarter pole two wide and came three wide off the bend but faded in the final furlong. CURAHEE dueled for the lead on the inside and made a bid leaving the turn to shake clear but came up empty in the final furlong. CE LA VI CHARLI hesitated and was off very slowly, then moved out to be three wide on the first turn while catching up to the tail of the field, continued three wide on the far turn but lacked a rally. OISHI was reserved along the inside and then was pulled up on the far turn leaving the three eighths marker, loaded on to the equine ambulance for further evaluation.
