Footnotes
NIGHT TIME NAP broke in mid back, moved up to show the way out of the chute while between rivals, extended that advantage late in the turn and into the stretch, held the runner up safe late while under steady handling. HASTEN broke in to help pinch back GRAND PARK VIEW, was straightened to race in the second group outside, four wide through the turn, set down for the drive, slowly getting to the winner late, clearly second best. CLEAR ECHO broke well, vied early while three wide and outside the winner, chased that one through the turn and into the stretch, failed to match the runner up through the lane, saved the show. ODORICO away in good order, flashed speed inside, began to gradually weaken just before a half. SACKETT in the second flight while just off the inside, called on for some run late in the turn, continued one pace through the lane in failing to better his position. GRAND PARK VIEW pinched back at the start, remained back in the run up the backstretch, improved position through the lane by passing mostly tiring rivals, failed to make a serious impact. SINGULARITY back off the pace outside, four wide through the turn, remained outside for the drive, lacked a serious closing response. AMBUSHED went mostly one paced outside, five wide through the turn, also was found lacking down the lane. TRACK RANGER in the second flight while toward the inside for six furlongs, tired through the lane. HOMER JONES bobbled and broke out, gave way after four furlongs. PHRASEOLOGISM remained back to be always outrun.
