Footnotes
MAMBO QUEEN broke well, allowed the leader to go the opening quarter, tracked that foe toward the inside while firmly in hand up the backstretch, moved at will to challenge between foes turning for home, responded when the runner up challenged from the outside soon after, spirted duel to the wire, dug in late to prove best. DANDY VANDY (FR) also away well, raced back off the pace, followed the winner to the fore entering the stretch, challenged that one from the outside, dueled to the wire, outkicked in the final yards, clear of others. MOONSCAPE broke in, bumped inner foe, devoid of any early foot while under restraint, began to advance in the two path far turn, continued to moderate interest through the stretch while not a serious threat to the top pair. SUZIES PRIDE in the second flight outside, lost position steadily through the final turn, dropped inside, improved by picking off a couple of mostly tiring rivals. MAGIC MOON SPELL second group early, briefly lodged a bid three wide and outside the winner turning into the stretch, faltered through the lane. HOPE DIAMOND sprinted clear early in the first turn, set the pace inside, gave readily when confronted entering the stretch. DONUT DALI bumped at the start, remained back, lost contact with the field through the straight and jogged in far back.
