SPOTLIGHT GIRL broke sharply then cleared to the inside soon after, showed the way through the turn by daylight, responded when joined from the outside in upper stretch, long duel to the wire with that one, headed with a furlong to run, stayed on in game fashion to battle back and narrowly prevail. WINROOSKI away in good order, fell back a bit and chased the winner into the turn off the inside, closed the gap turning for home, dueled, put a head in front past the furlong marker, continued on equal terms to the wire, outgutted in the waning strides to miss. NIECEY back off the early pace, fell back a bit more by midway on the turn, angled out to be four wide exiting the bend, closed with good energy on the outside to be going best of all of the top three at the end. DREAM OVERTURE broke inward and a step slow, moved up to race behind the pace of the rail, raced three wide out of the turn, lacked a serious closing response to finish up evenly. SIERRA off the early pace toward but not on the inside, two path upper stretch to race between foes nearing the furlong grounds, moved to the inside for the finish, was also going one paced at the end. MODERN MISS within striking distance four three furlongs along the inside, lacked a closing response. BETO'S GATA fell back to trail after the start and was not a factor.
