Footnotes
GRAMP'S LEGACY broke forwardly, showed the way into and through the first turn just off the inside, continued to set the pace under a light hold the middle half mile under a light hold, let out a notch entering the stretch, maintained a daylight advantage to the wire while being kept to task. SE THAR BARR lacked speed, came three wide for the drive, made a good gain past and inside the furlong marker, could not get to the winner late while having enough left late to hold the second spot. TWAIN hopped at the break to be away slowly, lacked speed while racing three wide, continued in the three path second turn when still back, four wide for the drive, finished willingly late to narrowly miss the second spot. UNDERSTUDY KITTY in mid pack and three wide, lugged in upper stretch, was straightened and ran on to pick up a minor placing while not having enough for the second or third positions. WOW WHATA PARTY off the pace while between horses in the first turn, saved ground through the second bend, split foes while in a bit tight upper stretch, improved past the furlong marker then went flat late. JOLLY BOSS within striking distance out in the course, moved closer three wide turning for home, chased the winner past the furlong marker and then faltered to lose several positions. VIRGINIA FITZ fell back to trail after the start, continued back inside, cut the corner in to the straight, brief wait behind some traffic upper stretch, moved out a bit and continued to improve slightly. SENDERO lacked speed, came between foes into the lane, continued in some traffic past the furlong marker, finished up evenly. GREEN BEANS raced toward the front in the second flight along the inside, appeared to stall in upper stretch, put in tight soon after and gave way. TWO'S A CROWD broke with the winner, prompted that one for six furlongs from the outside, stopped through the stretch.
