OUTRUNNER prompted the pace three wide early and then pressed the leader two wide to the far turn and made a two to three wide bid leaving the turn to gain a short lead briefly and then was challenged by the winner leaving the three sixteenths and fought on but was out-kicked losing the place award on the wire. SOLEIL VOLANT was allowed to settle early towards the inside and then in the two path, between rivals on the far turn and angled out in the lane and had a mild late kick to gain the last spot in the superfecta. THIRTEEN COLONIES tracked the leaders from the inside and saved ground on the far turn and cut the corner leaving the turn and got thru on the inside leaving the furlong marker but had no kick. JUST A FAIR SHAKE was hard held early on the inside and shuffled back nearing the three eighths marker and then angled out leaving the turn but had no serious rally. IRON HAND set the early pace while in the two path, then was pressured and moved to the inside and came two wide off the bend but weakened in the final furlong.
