Footnotes
FERAL'S JOY outrun early while along the inside early, encountered some traffic far turn, moved out a bit, came four wide for the drive, steered out widest for room, late surge out in the middle of the course to be in time. WHERE'S CHARLIE off a step slow, raced back early, moved into contention with a five wide move through the final turn, challenged approaching the furlong grounds, led late, failed to contain the winner, narrowly gained the nod for the lace. BALANCE OF POWER away on top, showed the way into the first turn, dueled the middle part, disposed of the other speed into the stretch as the runner up came calling, dueled with that one past the furlong marker, also failed withstand the late run of the winner, missed the nod for the runner up positiokn. MEISTERSINGER settled in mid pack, in some traffic in the second turn, brief wait between horses into the stretch, lacked a closing punch when clear. SWEET TONE lacked speed along the inside, steadied and then shuffled back along the rail far turn, fell back to trail, continued to lack room behind a wall of horses into and through upper stretch, finished up evenly after the issue had been decided. REGGAE MAN forwardly placed into the first turn, prompted the leader well out in the course onto the backstretch, dueled into the far turn, first to blink when the real running began turning for home. LORD DONEGAL back off the pace and the inside, moved closer three wide in the second turn, failed to sustain that advance in the drive. HASN'T HAD ENOUGH forwardly placed while four wide entering the first bend, tucked in to save ground, remained within striking distance for over five furlongs then began to weaken.
