WATERMELON CRUSH took command soon after the start, rated while set a somewhat soft set of fractions, continued to show the way into the stretch, shrugged off nearest pursuer inside the furlong grounds to be clear again late, just enough left to win the bob at the wire over the rallying runner up. PIETRELCINA outrun early inside, continued back under patient handling up the backstretch, began to creep closer far turn, got through every jump while continuing inside, reached contention when straightened for home, continued to come up the rail, late bid, missed. GOODSON JAMESON chased the winner off the inside, asked for run second turn, challenged with a mild bid late in the turn from the outside, turned back midstretch, lasted for the show. THATSMYBOXER in the second flight while along the inside, moved closer through the second turn, flattened out in the run to the wire, not enough late for the show. GORDITO settled in mid pack while off the inside, shuffled back into the stretch to lose considerable position, steered toward the inside, regained momentum to improve position, too late for the show. TYLER'S TURN last away, continued void of early speed, moved out, four wide into the lane when beginning to stage a mild advance, leaned in upper, improved position. BLACKTHORNE BRUSCA lacked early foot, came three wide for the drive, also managed to better position with some mild interest. MUSICAL ENTOURAGE forwardly placed of the inside after breaking in good order, continued in the second flight, tired in the drive. SCAR NOSE settled off the pace, moved a bit closer on the outside second turn, flattened out and weakened in the drive. GRAND LIAM raced in the main group, was idling through upper stretch, traffic with a furlong to run, fell back. LOVE SHAQ tired after racing outside. UNION THUNDER was never involved.
