INNER TURF FOR THREE YEAR OLDS. No nomination fee. $1,250 to enter and $1,250 to start. Supplementary nomination of $5,000 (which includes entry and starting fees) may be made at the time of entry. $500,000, with 60% to the owner of the winner, 20% to sec ond, 11% to third, 6% to fourth and 3% to fifth. Weight: 123 lbs. Non-winners of a graded stake at a mile or over allowed 3 lbs.; an open sweepstakes at a mile or over on the turf, 5 lbs. Starters and riders to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. This race will be limited to fourteen (14) starters. In the event more than fourteen entrants pass through the entry box, preference will be given to graded stakes winners (in order I-II-III), then graded stakes placed in order (I,II,III ) highest lifetime turf earnings. Any horse excluded due to the aforementioned preference shall be refunded the entry fee and supplementary nomination fee, if applicable. Nominations closed Wednesday, August 19, 2026 with 36 nominations. Trophy to the wi nning owner.

LENNOX THE GREY set a slow pace and battled through the second turn and into the stretch before being headed and passed by THE BIG CON (GB) at the sixteenth pole then fought back to win gamely. THE BIG CON (GB) rated in the middle of the pack and saved ground while keen to go early then tucked in and made a rail rally at the sixteenth pole, leading late but was caught on the wire. CHAMBERSVILLE stalked the early pace then loomed boldly nearing the 3/8 pole and rallied while four wide into the stretch but was outfinished at the wire. SUPERCHARGER settled early with a three wide trip then angled six wide into the stretch and closed willingly. QUIET POWER raced close up along the inside early then waited behind the leaders into the stretch before being asked along the rail and making a mild rally late. DR. AGNE tucked in early and raced in the second flight then made a steady advance while three wide and a mild bid into the stretch. HEEERE'S JOHNNY showed no speed early and saved ground then was asked on the turn and raced evenly in the stretch. KRAVITZ rated in the middle of the pack early then moved up at the 5/8 pole to contend before being asked near the 1/4 pole but had no response in the stretch. TIERNANOGUE was allowed to settle early then altered six wide into the stretch but made no rally. DROP SHOT rated in the second flight early then ranged up while four wide on the turn but faded in the stretch.
