ANNA JEAN in mid pack while well out in the strip into the turn, idled through the bend while remaining outside, four to five wide into the lane, found more late while moved out even further to be up in the late going. SLANDEROUS chased the early leader up the backstretch and into the turn, challenged three wide and between foes with two furlongs to run, shook clear nearing the furlong grounds, also steered out a bit further late, could not contain the winner. IDES OF DEMARCH main body outside, closer four wide and then challenged outside the runner up turning for home, chased that one past the furlong marker, also unable to withstand the winner late, comfortably saved the show. IRISH B GOODE broke back, lacked speed for four furlongs, displayed some mild, belated interest to improve position stretch, never dangerous. MADAME MARKIEVICZ in the second flight inside, advanced and challenged along the rail exiting the turn, began to weaken in upper stretch and continued to falter in losing additional position to the wire. CLASS AND SASS settled off the issue early, had nothing for the drive. DARK WIND last to leave, remained always back. ALWAYS A RYE broke on top, sprinted clear, set the pace for just under a half in the two path, caved in when headed late in the turn.
