CART GIRL SAM tracked the leaders while in the three path, angled out when beginning to move on that group to be four wide late turn, floated out to be five wide into the stretch by a tiring rivals, set down for the run to the wire, closed with good resolve to be in plenty of time. TWIRLING QUEEN away well, set a pressured pace along the inside, shook clear when nearing the furlong marker, could not contain the winner while holding sway for the second spot. SIMPLY STATED fell back along the inside after the start, raced firmly in hand and unhurried while saving ground through the turn, steered out to be three wide by midstretch, could not match the winner late while getting to the runner up. SLANG pressed the issue up front while between horses, weakened through the stretch. UPTOWNBLINGITHOME last to leave, raced back, lacked a serious bid. OBSTREPEROUS broke well from the outside, prompted the issue up front on the outside and three wide, was giving way when getting out to be four wide into the lane, continued to back up.
