Footnotes
ON A PROUD NOTE broke out a bit to help tighten up a couple of outer rivals, moved up the inside to show the way early, continued to vie through the turn, disposed of the other speed into the lane, responded when the runner up came calling when straightened for home, turned that foe back inside the furlong grounds to prove best. BETSYLICIOUS forwardly placed along the inside behind the winner, tipped out three wide late in the turn, engaged that same rival from the outside approaching midstretch, raced on equal terms past the furlong marker, denied, clear second. CHUBLIN in mid pack early while off the inside, moved closer four wide and between horses entering the stretch, proved no match for the top two in the run to the wire, well clear of the others. DREAM LEADER broke in the rear, trailed for a half, picked off a few rivals to better her position through the stretch without posing a serious threat. CAMEO pressured the winner for a half while between horses and began to give way, continued to weaken through the lane. HUMOR SENSE in tight and bumped at the break, remained back in failing to muster a rally. CAJUN EXPECTATION in tight and bumped start, squeezed again soon after, ranged up to become a forward factor briefly while five wide out of the turn, gave way. MISSY BOSS pressed the issue up front in the three path, checked out quickly from between horses late in the turn, very wide into the stretch, jogged in. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REGARDING THE START AND THE RUN THROUGH THE OPENING SIXTEENTH, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
