Footnotes
GREEN LIGHT DAY unhurried early along the inside, continued to be outrun up the backstretch, steered out and came four wide for the drive, continued his steady advance the final furlong to be up in time. BEHOLD THE KING forwardly placed, inherited the advantage before a half when the early leader bore out onto the backstretch, was head by that same rival into the far turn, regained the advantage in the two path when straightened for home, clear past the furlong marker, could not contain the winner. PRACTICAL JOKER broke a step slow, moved up to race in mid pack, came three wide for the drive, staged a mild rally to annex the show. SEAL BAY also off a beat slow, moved up to a forward position the opening quarter, remained in striking position the middle half, raced in the two path and in some traffic upper stretch, closest to the runner up past the furlong marker, weakened and failed to maintain position. CULOIR broke back, lacked speed, moved closer second turn, also encountered some traffic into the straight, went flat the final furlong when lcear. BEYBE BETO settled off the pace inside, continued to save ground second turn, lacked a closing kick. SARATOGA SLACK sprinted clear soon after the start, bore out badly onto the backstretch, regathered, moved back to the front into the far turn, faltered in the drive. BRAVO BRODY off step slow, four wide when well back first turn, fell further back and lost contact with the field after six furlongs.
