RAPTOR'S (BRZ) settled off the pace inside, continued to save ground into and though the second turn, patiently handled into the lane, split foes with less than a furlong remaining and displayed good mettle to prove narrowly best. SIEGE OF BOSTON lacked early foot, began to creep closer three wide turning for home, challenged on the outside with a furlong to run, gained a small advantage only to be outkicked by the winner late. FOREVER SOUPER stalked, bid far turn, dueled into stretch, continued to vie between the top two and proved stubborn. STRONG QUALITY worked way clear the opening furlong inside, continued to show the way up the backstretch and into the far turn, responded when challenged, dueled into the stretch, also showed resilience before yielding late. HE'SPUREGOLD back off the pace, in the two path when steadied between the top two finishers late in the final turn, fell back out of contention. FREEDOM PRINCIPLE fell back to trail after the start and was never a factor. FOLLOWING A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER OF HE'SPUREGOLD AGAINST THE RUNNER UP FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE EXITING THE FINAL TURN, THE RESULT WAS ALLLOWED TO STAND.
