GRAMPS unhurried early on to race in hand, moved up from the outside through the far tur, fanned wide into the upper lane and surged up late under strong handling. FLY COMMANDER checked near the three quarters pole, up close three deep near the five sixteenths pole, led inside the eighth pole but could not hold off the winner in a game effort. LET FLY settled to race mid pack, took up near the five sixteenths pole, raced two to three wide in the stretch and kept on gamely to the wire. SILVER PUNCH unhurried early on, made a three wide bid near the quarter pole and flattened out in the drive. MR ON HIGH raced from the inside down the backstretch into the far turn, checked sharply near the five sixteenths pole, jockey of Mr On High claimed objection against Fly Commander for interference and stewards ruled no change, raced four wide into the upper lane and kept on after a troubling trip. LEGEND'S THUNDER raced with the second flight early, was five to six wide into the upper stretch and needed more. ROYCES RIDE dropped back to race mid pack, was four to five wide in the drive and lacked a solid bid. OJIN trailed early on and failed to respond. MAXIMUS THUNDER forwardly placed from the outside, raced three wide into the far turn, checked near the five sixteenths pole and faded. GOURMET DINNER sent along to set the pace and was done early.
