SPORTSCARR lagged early, drove four wide at the head of the stretch, closed steadily and got by just in time. WINTER FALCON stalked the early pace from two wide, rallied between late to get by late for place. MR MIEZIE showed the way into the backstretch, was under attack at the head of the stretch and was run down in the final strides. BUCK'S FIZZ trailed the field and lacked running room late. SOMTHING ELUSIVE chased inside, and steadied along the rail late in the stretch. STEWARDS' INQUIRY- The Board of Stewards conducted an inquiry during the stretch run. After review, no change was made.
