QUARTERBACK DAK hurried away, contested the pace outside of YOU'RE THE CAUSE, steadied in close quarters, then responded to a challenge from BRINGER OF RAIN, dueled into the stretch, and drew clear. BRINGER OF RAIN shifted out three wide leaving the first turn, moved up to press the issue entering the far turn, came in, interfering with both QUARTERBACK DAK and YOU'RE THE CAUSE, dueled outside of QUARTERBACK DAK and flattened out late stretch. TITIAN trailed early, and lodged a late bid, getting by for show. STREET VENDOR did not receive a fair start. KYSTONE hustled away but was outsprinted to the opening turn, lacked running room entering the front side, settled inside, and tired early. YOU'RE THE CAUSE sent for speed, was joined entering the backstretch, was checked out of tight quarters and yielded. JOCKEY OBJECTION- An objection was lodged by the rider of YOU'RE THE CAUSE, alleging interference against the rider of QUARTERBACK DAK in the far turn. STEWARDS INQUIRY- The Stewards conducted an inquiry into the far turn and determined that BRINGER OF RAIN caused interference to both YOU'RE CAUSE and QUARTERBACK DAK. BRINGER OF RAIN was disqualified and placed fifth. Additionally, after review of the start involving STREET VENDOR, it was determined that he did not receive a fair start. All monies to be refunded on STREET VENDOR.
