MY MUNNINGS MODEL was unhurried early, took closer order in the far turn, took advantage of an opening at the head of the stretch and drew clear. WHITE MOUNTAIN rated well off the pace, waited in traffic in the final turn, and was outkicked. HORATIO broke alertly, then settled just off the pace from between foes, chased the leader in the far turn, drove four wide in the final turn, and improved late for third place. SCUFFLE pressed the pace while three wide, gained the lead leaving the backstretch, and gave way in the stretch. TAYLOR FIELD saved ground along the rail, shifted out three wide into the stretch and closed late. COOLWIND was gapped early, advanced quickly leaving the backstretch, angled to the rail in the final turn, and flattened out late in the stretch. MR MORRIS contested the early pace from between foes, dueled inside of SCUFFLE, and faded. GHOSTLY SPITFIRE tracked four to five wide, chased in the final turn and wilted. QUARTERBACK DAK lacked early speed, was five wide entering the frontside, lodged a bid in the far turn and came up empty in the stretch. PURSUE tracked inside, and was done early.
