Footnotes
QUALITY COMMAND fanned three wide, drew clear leaving the backstretch, and held under a late drive. LICORICE sat in striking range from just off the rail, rallied in the stretch, dug in, in the final strides to earn place. FEBRUARY was four wide in the first turn, went in pursuit of the leader, and was collared late for second. ROSE OF TEXAS chased three wide in the final turn, and rallied mildly. TEXAS HUMOR settled inside, lodged a bid in the final turn and flattened out. DIAMOND DI vied between foes, and was quickly outrun.
