A SALE STAKE FOR TWO YEAR OLD CANADIAN BREDS. Horses that passed through the C.T.H.S (Alberta), C.T.H.S. (Manitoba), C.T.H.S. (B.C.) or C.T.H.S. (ON) sale in 2024 will be eligible for the Two Year old 2025 restricted Canadian Sales Stake Series in Alberta , Manitoba, B.C. and Ontario. Nomination to an out of Province Sales Stake (not in the Province where the yearling sold) will be the responsibility of the owners who will pay $750 to nominate, $750 to enter and $1,000 to start. In the event that the races are over-subscribed, preference will be given to horses that passed through the Alberta C.T.H.S. sale. Free nominations to Alberta Sales horses. $500 to enter, $500 to start. Race limited to ten starters with an also eligible four horses. Weight: 124 lbs . Maidens allowed 3 lbs. Purse distribution: 1st- 60%, 2nd-20%, 3rd- 10%, 4th- 3.5% 5th- 2.5% 6th- 2% and 2% to the consignor [C.T.H.S. (Alberta) Sale] of the winning horse.

RELAXGODOITRAMONE saved ground setting the pace, opened a clear lead approaching the stretch then ducked out sharply entering the stretch, quickly recovered and proved best under strong handling. BAKK N BEAUTIFUL prompted RELAXGODOITRAMONE, came in slightly entering the stretch and finished strongly in a good effort. KAMAL was forwardly placed racing three-wide, angled in nearing the three-sixteenths pole, angled out entering when BAKK N BEAUTIFUL came in slightly and finished willingly. POUR HOUSE prompted the early paced racing along the inside and weakened. ALBERTA ICE was unhurried early, came three-wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. LITTLE DID WE KNOW was off a step slow then moved up to racing in the middle of the field, raced erratically on the stretch turn and gave way. THE TRAINER OF KAMAL LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST BAAK N BEAUTIFUL REGARDING THE INCIDENT ENTERING TE STRETCH BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH.
