LINAHASPECSHOES stalked the early pacesetters while under a snug hold, took advantage along the rail then obtained the lead, drew clear and was kept to task. MACHINA bumped leaving the gate, chased three wide, lodged a rail bid but was unable to reach the winner. BETTY JO hustled in the final turn, and rallied belatedly. KARDINAL ROSE broke outward into MACHINA, contested the front between foes entering the opening turn, dueled outside of MAGIC TIP, and lacked a closing response that was needed. ARTISTIC JEWLER failed to threaten. MAGIC TIP vied inside for the early lead, dueled inside of KARDINAL ROSE, and was through early. DIPLOMATICA vied three to four wide into the opening turn, and was done early.
