OAK BAY QUALITY vied for the lead with HARBOR DANCER from along the inside, drifted out slightly entering the stretch then came out nearing the sixteenth pole under left hand urging to bump HARBOR DANCER then came out again to bump that one and was all out to prevail narrowly. CASSANO saved ground while being reserved, slipped through during the drive and closed strongly. HARBOR DANCER vied with OAK BAY QUALITY from along the outside, was carried out slightly by that one entering the stretch, then was bumped by that rival at the sixteenth pole and again nearing the wire in a game effort. I'M SEEING RED was forwardly place racing along the outside, came four-wide into the stretch then angled in nearing the eighth pole and was gaining slightly late. CAPE COMANDER disputed the early pace while racing three-wide and tired. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF HARBOR DANCER AGAINST OAK BAY QUALITY, THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED OAK BAY QUALITY FROM FIRST AND PLACED HIM THIRD FOR CAUSNG INTERFERNCE WHILE DRIFTING OUT UNDER LEFT HAND ENCOURAGEMENT.
