PIONEER STORM KING saved ground setting the pace and maintained a safe advantage. LORD OF BATTLE chased PIONEER STORM KING while racing two-wide, could not reach that one but proved to be second best. G T RAY SIR was forwardly placed while saving ground and finished well in a steady effort. J DUTTON was reserved off the early pace, came three-wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. LATE NIGHT LIVING was unhurried early, came three-wide into the stretch but was unable to seriously threaten. DERECHO DANDY raced in the back of the field, came four-wide into the stretch a d was not a factor.
