THESHACK vied with MUDINATOR from along the inside, drifted out slightly leaving the quarter pole, responded when asked and was fully extended to just last. DON'T LET ME DOWN was allowed to settle early, came three-wide into the stretch, then lacked room nearing the eighth pole, angled in approaching the sixteenth pole and finished fast to just miss. NORTHERN FORCE was forwardly placed while racing three-wide on the turn, came four-wide into the stretch and finished well in a steady effort. BRODY'S PAL saved ground tracking the pace, slipped through entering the stretch, offered a bold bid nearing the eighth pole but lacked the needed late response. JUMP THE QUEUE settled in the back of the field, came three-wide into the stretch and improved his position. MUDINATOR vied with THESHACK for the lead to the stretch from along the outside and weakened. POINT TO THE STARS was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch but failed to be a factor.
