WEDGE POND dueled on the lead from the inside down the backstretch, took command nearing the quarter pole and drew clear in the lane convincingly. GLAVA pressed the winner on the lead to midway on the turn, could not match strides with that one and ran-on willingly as second best. AWESOME CRUSADER reserved in hand off the pace to the turn, rallied steadily closing the gap on the bend and was along for the show without posing a threat to the top pair. RAPTURE BAY slow early to trail and showed some interest in the stretch. SQUALOTORO stalked the leaders to the quarter pole and flattened out turning for home.
