Footnotes
H K MIMI saved along the rail, swung five wide in the final turn, closed gamely outside, and was along in time. DIAMOND DI was three to four wide leaving the chute, set the pace from the three path, responded to pressure from HAZAEL, drifted out the stretch while under attack and was collared late. OOPS (GB) tracked the pacesetters while four wide, was roused entering the stretch, then was steadied from between foes when bothered by DIAMOND DI, and evened out. HAZAEL was under a strong hold early, sat in striking position while five wide, moved up alongside DIAMOND DI to challenge the front, and weakened late. RUNWAY LIGHTS sat in second flight while four wide, moved into closer order leaving the backstretch, closed off at the head of the stretch while in traffic, shifted out and flattened. SOLAR FORCE was wide entering the backstretch, and came up empty in the drive. CROWN OF CAIRO lacked a solid bid. SMOKIN JOY trailed throughout. JOCKEY OBJECTION and STEWARDS INQUIRY- An objection was lodged by the rider of OOPS against the rider of DIAMOND DI in the stretch run. After a review of the film, the Board of Stewards disqualified DIAMOND DI for interference to OOPS and placed third.
