Footnotes
TORIADOR sent to the lead, responded gamely to a challenge from BAR DOWN EXPRESS, and refused to relinquish control. BAR DOWN EXPRESS saved ground inside, tipped out nearing the final turn, ranged up alongside TORIADOR to contest the lead, dueled outside through the lane, but could not gain the advantage. HANK OLLIE chased outside while four wide, and lacked the closing response needed. ACCIDENTAL GENIUS crowded early and closed late. PIONEER STORM KING stalked the pace, and faded gradually. SET TO SHINE showed little.
