MATURITY DATE unhurried early, progressed gradually along the rail, and proved timely with a late run to win. WE THE FRINGE sent for early speed, dueled inside of WIRLY GIRLY, gained the upper hand in the final turn, loss the advantage in the stretch but dug in late to secure a second place finish. WIRLY GIRLY dueled outside of WE THE FRINGE for the lead, continued to battle four to five wide into the stretch and was run down by a late closing MATURITY DATE. GRACIE'S BIG DAY sat just off the dueling pacesetters, and came up empty in the drive. BREEZIN BRIANNE fractious in the gate, settled four wide, and tired early.
