SHASHASHAKEMEUP sat in striking range, took advantage of the seam along the rail, grabbed the lead and held under a drive. RODEO CHAMP chased inside, waited for running room at the head of the stretch, rallied determinedly and missed after a good late effort. TAKE CHARGE CURLY set the pace from just off the rail, was overtaken and weakened. SQUALOTORO away well, sat five wide in the backstretch, fanned three wide at the head of the lane, and flattened. CHICKASAW trailed the field, lacked running room leaving the backstretch, and offered a mild bid under urging. SNAP COUNT fanned five wide in the far turn, and came up empty in the drive. JULIUS THE GREAT raced wide early and failed to threaten. SIX SHOTS OF T tracked outside, and tired early.
