SCARLETT LETTER dueled for the early lead outside of BENZENE, gained the lead nearing the quarter pole, then kicked away and was geared down. SUNDAY RAIN hurried away, was all out in the stretch and was no match for the winner. BENZENE vied inside for the lead, was unable to move on with SCARLETT LETTER and gave way in the stretch.
